Let people find your location easily by MapID

Steps to create your own Map ID

1. Open any map on the website and find the location you want to mark.

(You can open North America Map, zoom and pan to the location you want mark on the map)

2. Click the MARK button on up right corner of the map

3. Click the point on the map where you want mark your location, a white text window will popup (see image), please click the link "Create MapID for this location" on it,

4. On the web page "Create Map ID", Please input the name of the map and supply a password that might be used to modify this MapID in the future if needed.

5. Then follow the instructions on the web pages to finish create your own MapID.

6. Put the link http://mapid.com/map?id=tmpxxxx on your website or on your brochures (MapID: tmpxxxx or MapID: tmpxxxx@MapID.com), then you're done. (Note: tmpxxxx is your MapID)

(Also you can send email to us and we can register your map id for you, then that MapID will be permanent and MapID will become xxxx instead of tmpxxxx, where xxxx is your MapID)
